DESCRIPTION:Hot Stones\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDate and time \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorkshop TypeHot Stones \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou are invited to learn Hot Stones massage therapy over a full day training course. Time will be spent in learning the benefits of hot stones therapy and how to best use the different types of stones in conjunction with your Lomi Lomi massage techniques and strokes. You will also be taught how to correctly heat\, clean and refresh your stones. Lava stones are a reminder of creation and the beginning of time when the earth was covered in water. As the land rose in the form of volcanoes\, from volcanoes came stones. Many ancient cultures used stone therapy in daily life for healing\, relaxation and transformation. In Hawaii the lava stones were wrapped in leaves and are placed on the body to allow the client to increase their metabolic rate\, activate the parasympathetic system and stimulate ultra-filtration into their lymphatic system. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCurrently offering our ‘Day Stay’ option at Peace Mojo House in Burleigh Heads on the beautiful Gold Coast.  BYO lunch\, only snacks provided. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*You will need to have minimum Level 1 Traditional Old Style Lomi Lomi Massage training to attend this workshop. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nThis treatment when performed continuously with your Lomi Lomi strokes will last approximately 1 hour to 90 minutes. There are no formal notes given however you are welcome to bring a notebook if written notes will aid in your style of learning. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur teaching style emphasises compassion\, kindness and a relaxed environment with laughter\, fun and support to make this learning an easy joyful experience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMany massage therapists have studied and become qualified to be able to give this massage treatment\, which compliments their skills and other modalities and is recognised by IICT & ANTA and also covered by the IICT membership and can be added to your list of skills covered by insurance.
